He asked about catfish and it's been a while I had some so we decided to visit. "Farm to table" is evident as the cuisine was tasty and delicious! Gumbo was filled with shrimp, sausage, and catfish; catfish platters (blackened and Cajun style fried D) and the fried green tomatoes and ocra were crispy and not greasy. Very pleased with Catfishhox here in Marrietta, GA, small but with big flavors and hospitality that is beyond measure. We tried the fresh fried green tomatoes and Fried Pork Skin rinds with a vinegar spiced sauce, if I didn't know any better could have sworn my great grandmother was back there cooking up everything. Move on to the blackened Catfish dinner with fried orka and hushpuppies, very good and filling in clouding a side of jalapeños cornbread, sweet tea was awesome.
